 The silicone heating cable is mainly used on terrariums for nocturnal land snakes or lizards. It allows a diffusion of heat coming from the ground.

 The cable is used outside the terrarium, it is strongly recommended not to put the cable in contact with animals.
 It is not recommended to use the cable over the entire surface of the terrarium, but rather over about 1/3 of the surface in order to always provide a thermal gradient. Leave a gap of 3cm between the cable passage to avoid overheating.
 The use of a thermostat to control the temperature is essential.
