Personal observation : Simandoa conserfariam is a magnificent species of African cockroach discovered in 2004 in a single cave in the Simandou mountain range, between Nzérékoré and Kankan, in south-eastern Guinea, in a forest region. place where the species has been observed. Unfortunately this region is also that of the world's largest mining deposit of iron, and the cave in which these cockroaches were discovered was destroyed for the benefit of exploitation. And the story ended, no more caves, no more cockroaches. Some individuals had been collected and reproduced in captivity, this species is extinct in its natural environment.

We recommend our ideal and nutritious isopod / iule substrate mixture, available in the "Materials / Substrates" tab.
